The city of Luther and Bach, featuring the Wartburg Castle, the Bach House, the Luther House, and much more. Visit the Reuter-Wagner Museum or the Automobile Museum.
From here you can reach the legendary Dragon Gorge, which is the starting point for an extended hike along the Rennsteig trail. Take a detour to the “Hirschstein” viewpoint or, of course, to the Wartburg Castle. A free parking lot is located right next door. A public bus stop is directly opposite, and line 190 will take you back to our camping park.
For our biker friends , we have an extra route , the route ~ 99 ~ together . This tour through the Thuringian Forest is also for the most demanding customers a special highlight - it contains but also parts of the track of the legendary Wartburg rally and the Rennsteig mountain race ( through forest with many curves and slope ) . On the connector , there is plenty to see and also many opportunities to enjoy the Thuringian bratwurst:-)
Our restaurant " Sea View " is located on the Campingpark Eisenach. There are two guest rooms and a beer garden with 40 seats available. Whether in the conservatory or on the terrace - you can enjoy the evening with regional cuisine and freshly tapped beer. We are happy to align and hold family celebrations and club evenings.
